Here is our Photo Slideshow..
The tricky little monkey decided to flip upside down on us after Julie's last sonogram last Thursday. This was actually discovered about 3:30 AM on Sunday morning the 22nd when Julie and I first went to the hospital.
Later that morning when Julie's contractions did not increase in intensity we were sent home for Julie to rest with the possibility of coming back later in the evening for the C-section procedure. Well, Julie's contractions went on most of the day Sunday but subsided late that evening. So, Julie got some much needed rest.
Monday the 23rd and 24th she had intermittent contractions with Connor but never reached the level advised by the doctors to go back into the hospital. With an appointment that was scheduled this morning with our advising doctor, Dr. Rath, it was determined that Julie would have the procedure today at 2:00 to bring baby Connor into the world :)
So, it's been a great day for us and Julie is very happy that Connor is finally here as am I. We hope that you enjoy the first couple of pictures - there are many more plus videos to come.
Yesterday Julie had a 4D Sonogram of Conner done. We spent about an hour and a half at the doctors office and then went to register her at the hospital. It was a very neat experience to see Conner's development at 8 months. We are due June 30th and Julie is such a trooper - I love her :)
Here are the pictures that were taken during the ultra sound and I will see about getting the video online. The video is pretty lengthy and I'll have to find a way to get it hosted somewhere as its over the size requirements to publish it here. Until then, enjoy the pictures below and here is a slideshow as well.
Kendall's a big girl now :) .... She turned 4 years old this year. On her birthday this year we went to Chucky Cheese during the week and then we had a pony party at GiGi and PaPa's on Sunday. Kendall had lots of arts and crafts projects for friends as well as some fun games. The most fun of all was the little ponies that came and gave everyone a ride...it was a great time.
Kendall is on the hunt for Easter eggs. This egg hunt took place at church, Grace Memorial.
Trying to catch up here on the family blog...here is a video from Wurstfest 2007. Jason, Stacey, Evan and Mason came to visit us in New Braunfels and we had a great time eating sausage, dancing the "Chicken Dance" and of course the guys had a few beers :-)
After a little breakfast we head over to get GiGi and PaPa then drove out to Braken Methodist Church, where we've been going for the past three years to get a pumpkin or two and take some family pictures with Kendall. This year I took the video camera and got a few vids below. Julie also took a few pictures that I'll upload a bit later (one camera at a time).
After the pumpkin patch we headed to the mall for some family socializing and shopping. Before we got to the mall we stopped for some lunch at Grumpy's - yep makes you feel like it sounds ... not the best Mexican food I've ever had. So, we made it to the mall and then it was onto a B-day party for a friend, Gary Gill, who was turning 50. Then, Bryan's my brother pictured in the very right video as his happy birthday song was sung to him turned 28 this year. Man he's getting old. We had his party Sunday night and just before that Kendall and Julie went to one of Kendall's friends B-day parties...I stayed home and cleaned house a bit :-)
Well, maybe I should have titled this post B-days and pumpkin patch (3 b-day parties in one weekend) because this has to be our record for B-day parties in one weekend.
